Prof. Dr. Roland Mitric
Chair of Theoretical Chemistry

Roland Mitric was born in 1976 in Ravensburg (Germany). He studied Chemistry and Physics at the University of Zagreb. Afterwards he moved to the Humboldt University of Berlin where he obtained his PhD in 2003 working with Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. Vlasta Bonacic-Koutecky on optical properties and ultrafast process on atomic clusters. In 2009 he joined the Free University of Berlin as an independent research group leader in the frame of prestigious Emmy Noether programme of the DFG. Since April 2013 he holds the Chair of Theoretical Chemistry at the Julius-Maximilians University Würzburg.
